About Us

Hi, I’m Matt

This winter I will be heading on a ski trip across the United States with my friend Mickey. Over the course of 79 days we will ski in every state with an open ski resort. No trip like this has ever been attempted. We will travel on the road documenting ski resorts, towns, and the people we meet.

You can follow our journey here at LostAtSKI.com on Twitter @LostAtSKI and Facebook. We will also be updating daily on YouTube and weekly on Vimeo.

We want to hear from every ski and snowboard fan across the country and hopefully meet some of you for skiing and a drink at your favorite bar. Neither of us is a professional skier and this experience is both exciting and intimidating.

The goal of this trip is to share the story of skiing in America. Check out our Trip Details page to see the resorts we will be hitting. We are looking for great local restaurants, bars, and attractions to stop at on the way, so we need your help!

The adventure starts November 21st , we will be thinking SNOW and looking forward to meeting some of you along the way.

You have an open day before and after Blue Mountain in PA. Feel free to join me at my private ski tow that was featured in SKI magazine. I am in the Mansfield Pa area. I have 165 foot verticle, one fast rope tow, night skiing and 4 runs. Would add some color to your trip.
